• Johns Hopkins East Baltimore Medical Campus

Johns Hopkins East Baltimore Medical Campus has three rooms, each in a different building, devoted to pumping. Hospital-grade pumps are available in each room. They received a Gold Award for Lactation Support. Their largest room is in the main hospital, and is in use around-the-clock. Even Parduba, an RN in Radiology is shown making using the room and its hospital-grade pump to provide milk for her infant daughter at home. Mothers who work on campus also have access to breastfeeding support groups, lactation consultants and on-site childcare. Some also have flexible work schedules.
