Calling on all creative Maryland Breastfeeding Coalition (MBC) members -
Now that we have a new logo, we are looking for someone to design a graphic that we could use on our banner, posters, t-shirts, etc. The design should represent MBC and our mission/vision. Please submit all ideas to Danya @ Danya.Benton@Maryland.gov by May1st. Voting will be opened up to MBC members and our design will be unveiled in time for World Breastfeeding Week.

Use of Human Donor Milk in Maryland

The Maryland Breastfeeding Coalition (MBC) has been contacted in recent months with questions regarding use of human donor milk in the NICU setting and in the community. We encourage you to attend the Maryland Coalition of Lactation Consultants meeting on March 26, 2019 to hear Naomi Bar-Yam, Past President of the Human Milk Banking Association of North America. Then plan on joining us for our next MBC meeting on May 8, 2019 to share your story, your concerns, and your questions about the use of human donor milk in Maryland. Help us decide how we can best address these issues as a Coalition. Contact the MBC if you have information to share but cannot join us in person on May 8.
